BiblioHUB is created by Alterstudio Partners for the Associazione Italiana Biblioteche (AIB). The project was part of Periferie in Azione strongly supported by the DGAAP during “Taking Care. Progettare per il bene comune” curated by TAMassociati for the Italian Pavilion at the 15th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale (2016).
BiblioHub is a library on wheels where to meet each other, exchange information, have books to read, or multimedia device to consult. It is an amusing space designed for adults and young people with the ambitious goal of overcoming the “loneliness” of people in the use of social media.
The moving library is realized thanks to the support of the DGAAP, the U.S. Embassy in Rome, the CSBNO, and the technical sponsors Media Library On Line (MLOL) and Promal srl Arredamento polifunzionale.
