The Prize offers two young Italian artists the chance to live in Beijing for 2 months.
The winners will be offered the opportunity to spend a two-month period in Beijing during which they will carry out the project presented at the time of applying. The works produced will be the subject of an exhibition to be held at a location identified by the NAMOC in agreement with the IIC-Beijing .
The DGAAP, MAECI-DGSP, IGAV , the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing and NAMOC promote the prize for two young Italian artists in China
The residence period is scheduled for October - December 2019.
The two grants each provide the following benefits:
return flight ticket to Beijing from Italy (with the exception of the costs for obtaining the visa that are paid by the winners);
overall scholarship of € 5,000.00 (five thousand euros) of which € 3,000.00 (three thousand euros) to cover board and lodging expenses and € 2,000.00 (two thousand euros) for the production of works to be carried out during the residency;
health insurance coverage for stay in China;
The initiative is reserved for Italian artists aged between 18 and 35 at the deadline of the public notice, active in the field of visual arts, in the broadest sense of the term, with at least one collective exhibition and one personal exhibition curriculum and good knowledge of the English language.

The deadline for submitting the application is Friday 7 June 2019, 12.00 (noon, Italian time).
