The brief of the 15th edition of the Premio New York, offering two young artists the chance to live in New York City for six months, is on line now.
The program is promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Italian Cultural Institute of New York and the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America and by the DGAAP (Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism).
In addition to airfare, the two winners will also receive a monthly stipend of $4,000.00 (for food and lodging), as well as the possibility to use a space at the International Studio & Curatorial Program in Brooklyn.
The program is restricted to emerging Italian artists with a good knowledge of the English language, who are active in the visual arts and who have already had at least one personal exhibition.
The deadline for the submission of applications to the Premio New York is the 5 June 2017.
